1. Great to have the NBA back.
2. Well managed so far. Always impressed with the NBA talent.
3. Definitely missing the crowd atmosphere but better than it could have been.
4. The BLM jersey messages look childish and devalue important messages. Also noticed Lebron's jersey reads 'James' only?
5. The refs looked less acclimated than the players. No flow yet.
Thoughts?

There’s enough nonsensical “messages” everywhere else. No need.
First thoughts? Who cares. Season is fragmented and done. It isn’t going to mean anything now. Especially now with what still going on in the world.

Black people aren't oppressed or treated unfairly in the U.S.
Blm founder is a Marxist pushing Marxism and using communist tactics.
Worst of all, they are riling people up to destroy cities and are ruining everyday life for everybody that has to live in those cities.
These aren't peaceful protesters, they are domestic terrorists.

Well yes, all of it is unfortunate, but have nothing to do with basketball.
And way overblown by you btw. You clearly don't know what "destroy cities" means if you think that one or two buildings burned and like 5 people dead out of millions means that city is destroyed.
Conservatives are swift to condemn leftists on their "police hunting black people down" BS, but then they do the same crap with "mobs are destrying american cities". It's all different sides of the same dirty politics and it shouldn't be in the way of NBA basketball.

The complete lack of stats, promotions, split screen, any overlay other than the score was amazing. I could focus on the game itself and not feel bombarded by extraneous information on the screen. I didn’t even realize it til almost halftime of the Jazz game, and I bet some of you didn’t either. But when you did, I’m betting you didn’t miss having all that junk clutter everything up. If I care to see stats, ill just pick up my phone. So refreshing.

And the Zion minutes restriction should be a wakeup call to him. The camera showed him huffing and puffing at the 10:52 mark of the fourth quarter, after playing only the first 4 minutes of the 3rd. That’s not just embarrassing for the average athlete, that’s embarrassing for an average non-obese person to clock barely over a minute and be that winded. We’re talkin like 4 jogs down the court, a couple of cuts, barely moving on defense, jostling in the post a couple times...and spent. I hope he can get it under control.

Yup. Good for some highlight plays and the Pels do a great job setting him up for high-quality looks, but he has ZERO lateral movement and really hurt them in an opener that they should have won. -16 in just 15 minutes of play. 0 rebounds, don't think he boxed out once.

This one, no. I couldn't run up the court in an NBA game let alone catch those two alleys to Zion.
I get your point though.
I would love to turn commentator sounds off - yes you Reggie - and just have the game sounds.

He definitely has elite scoring ability around the rim, but he hasn't shown a lot of effort rebounding or playing defense so far. I thought the Pelicans were saying he had been working out this entire time, was in great shape and was going to shock people.

You should read the Declaration of Independence, the document this country was founded on, the very people who wrote it were considered rebels and terrorist by Europe.
