Do you agree with this notion? I think it's generally true.

I think these BLMers has never lived in another country to see how good they have it in the US.

No. USA is one of the most racist places on Earth. Top 50 for sure.
USA had the laws that treated people of different races differently for the majority of its existence, and still probably the only developed country that have such laws.

Everything in USA is about race.

It have housing segregation, harlems, chinatowns etc. Shit like that is hard to find in the rest of the world.

Political segregation. It's pretty freaking incredible that most of the races in America are members of the same party as other people of their race.

Social segregation. USA is one of the few places in the world where you can guess persons social status and income by their race and be right like 80% of the time. I guess harder with white people, but only because they are the majority. Works with minorities though.

Cultural segregation. Different races have their own movies, TV shows, music. It's not always socially acceptable to imitate other races, dress like them. Rules about criticizing different races are different, you can't use certain words if you are not member of certain race. You have to make racial quotas if you make movies for example, which leads to crap like black actors in movies about medieval Poland.

What a terrible take. The USA was founded on racism and it still permeates through every systemic institution today.

Because U.S. has areas where people voluntarily choose to segregate, that makes the U.S. racist... lol

When Muslims come here or the UK, France, etc. nobody makes them join together to form their own towns/neighborhoods within a city. Many people choose to be around what they consider to be their culture. There ares tons of places that are mostly black, hispanic, asian, italian, jewish, christian etc. by choice living in a community , not just because white people are supposedly racist, and according to some, the only race that can be racist, which is in itself racist.

Claiming the U.S. is top 50 in racism when there are tons of countries that are 99% their own ethnicity, because they don't let other people in... how is that not more racist?

The majority of races live together in the country just fine. People are only claiming racism because they have an agenda, and that's to destroy the U.S. constitution while erasing histo. So new generations going forward won't know history, which allows the Marxists to feed their sheep a fake new imaginary history.

People have gone insane. Thanks Marxist propaganda shills.

yes... let BLM go to an asian country with their antics... they will "disappear" Drop a white guy off in the middle of afganistan, el salvador, or the congo... he will be kidnapped/killed quickly. USA and Europe are the main places in the world where you can be any race and be accepted.

The US is a place where racism thrives because we encourage a heterogeneous society here.

Go to India, Japan, Russia or Kuwait and suggest that they do it the way we do. Then sit back and marvel at the racism avalanche that comes your way. Racism that makes the Klan look like a Boy Scout troop.

ItsMillerTime is proof we are the most racist country.

Only two things he EVER says is either:

something racist

or Orange Man bad...

Note that hes either always being “traditionally racist” in a black/white context, or hes hating a particular person for his orange skin.

Thats literally all he contributes to the board.

EVER.

ItÂ’s the only thing in his mind. Nothing else.

So as long as people like him are still around, then yes, Im afraid weÂ’re the most racist.

Take your BS somewhere else. We have more than 150 ethnic groups in Russia, and I didn't know the meaning of word "racism" till I was a teenager.

There was a spike in 2000s in hate crimes thanks to 2nd chechen war, by the 2010s it was pretty much over. In 2018 there were 56 victims of hate crimes in Russia. Compare that to 5000 victims in USA.

I traveled the world, including spending couple of years in USA. There is a lot of places on earth where you can meet many people of different races. There is only few places where your race and not your citizenship means so much like in US.

^ I think a lot of that probably comes down to how acceptable it is to say that kind of thing in a given country. I'm sure plenty of people are being honest when they say they do or don't care, but the average person is gonna feel more pressure to say what they think they're 'supposed to say' based on their culture. Hence why they're average.

Like ItsMillerTime for instance.

I think the issue is the U.S. has a lot of mixed races permanently living there yet racism still thrives.

Some of the posters listing Asian countries.. you cant compare their environment to the U.S.

If you're in an Asian country and never see any black people, will you judge and stare? Probably.

In the U.S., what's your excuse?

In the U.S., what's your excuse? The knowledge that they commit a disproportionate amount of crimes so you have to remain vigilant. :confusedshrug:

That's what happens when very few immigrants are allowed to stay long term. They are probably terrified about Western style immigration problems and our multicultural infighting coming to their doorstep one day. They literally pay people to turn in illegal aliens with a bounty of $15 a head. Can you imagine how much we could make turning in all our illegal aliens :oldlol:

They also pay white people to live in upscale neighborhoods because having white people living your neighborhood is kind of a status symbol over there.

Here in the US we pay illegal aliens to have anchor babies here. I think they might have the better deal...

yeah that's not true at all most of the pioneers were far too hateful of American Indians to possibly get in so therefore it's nowhere remotely close to the least racist country on earth

most Catholic nations in this world are Ireland, Spain, Portugal and Mexico

Kind of weird though that people of all religions, colors and sexual orientations are still trying hard to get INTO Israel though. It's the only civilized place with personal freedoms in the middle East outside of maybe Dubai.

As a brown person who's lived abroad for the last 5 or 6 years and traveled a ton while living abroad I feel like I can weigh in... and it's not even close. I really urge brown/black Americans to travel a bit(not to your country of origin) and see the nonstop racism you'll deal with. It'll really make you appreciate America and Americans.

Sorry to derail the thread but I have to defend Jordan a bit. I'd take it easy on them, way better than Dubai/UAE in my opinion or any of these oil rich gulf countries who pretend to be western. They've had to deal with all their neighbor's conflicts for over 50 years with a mass migration from surrounding countries. Tons of Iraqis, Yemenis and Syrians there to the point where you feel Jordanians are the minority. Not to mention all the southern Egyptian migrant workers. They seem to be the only Arab country who actually take in large amounts of refugees and integrate them instead of leaving them in camps. Although culturally they're almost identical, Palestinians and Jordanians still differentiate themselves there but get along as if they're one.

It's actually an awesome country with a great bar and food scene for the Middle East. Great micro-brewery there called Carakale :)

I see what you're getting at. That my experience may not be so much USA vs the rest of the world but rather California vs the rest of the world. I'll admit I haven't been to many states. I hope to visit more in the future. Not the same and it's an extremely small sample size, but I can say I've met expats from the rest of the US with every political leaning and ideology you can imagine, and it's only added to my appreciation for the US.

But I have to ask. Are you basing your comment on personal experience? I'm genuinely interested and I'd love to hear your experiences as a minority in the rest of America vs California or even abroad. But I want real experiences and not some stereotype or individual incidents in other states.
