i average around six a night, sometimes seven. i start feeling out of it when i get only five hours, and start have trouble functioning on four... especially after consecutive deprived nights. i'd love to get eight hours of sleep a night, but if i get any more than that i start to feel draggy during the day.
everyone's different - i heard trump and 2pac barely sleep/slept. what about you?
and do you wear a mask when u sleep in order to slow the spread of covid?

Very sleep requisite person. If I don't sleep well for a couple nights in a row I start to really feel like shit. Even start developing cold/flu symptoms. Altho it seems like in my 30s it's been less severe than in my 20s. It's one of the major reasons I've always preferred to remain a freelance/self employed type. I can't sleep on other people's schedules. I need to sleep on mine.
And no, I don't wear a covid mask when I sleep :lol
I wear THREE covid masks when I sleep :crazysam:

I usually do Brooklyn and sleep outside my own house, usually from 9 to 5, when I figure the time is right. Most nights I stroll about the grounds to get a good sleepwalk in.

Usually just over 7 hours. I can't understand how people get 4-5 hours of sleep and go on with their day feeling normal, if I get 5 hours of sleep, I feel fatigued and dull throughout the day.

I probably average around 5 hours a sleep per night and 7 on the weekend.
8 hours at most, feeling very fresh at that point.
4-5 hours at least, in which I'd feel vague or fatigue.

I function best on 8 but I get 7 every night.
If I get used to 6 I can survive fine, but I'm just not as sharp and mornings suck bigtime.

Interesting description of people living on assistance.
But when you talking politics... nobody is a freeloader. Everyone is an innocent angel doing their best and deserves far more from the system than whatever theyre getting.
But when its convenient to attack someone you personally dislike, suddenly youre throwing out phrases like “freeloadin piece a shit on assistance!” An exact caricature of the kind of Florida redneck you’d otherwise mock when you want to feel smart and superior in a political exchange.
Youre just another Karen. First to should“black lives matter!” at the rally, first to throw them under the bus in real life when you feel threatened. First to champion the poor, first to attack someones income when your emotions flare up.

Six hours of sleep after a lazy day of sitting around.
Eight hours of sleep after exercise and activity-filled exhausting days.

Get? Maybe 4 fitful hours. Need? A lot more. Alcohol has really messed up my body when it comes to sleep.
I've found recently that a combination of milk and some sleeping pills would be effective in making oneself sleepy but despite that, it doesn't seem to prolong how many hours of sleep you would get.

Depending on the number of hours of sleep, your productivity during the day. And for my work it is very important. I work as a nurse in surgery. I sleep 7-8 hours. To keep sleep strong and calm, I take light sedatives. I always order them at a Canadian pharmacy, they are not addictive, which I really like.

I truly believe my body needs 10.
I probably average 8 or so per day. But that’s, 6 hours one day, 10 another.
I went almost 13 hours last week and had crazy energy the entire day.
I probably need to say **** it for 12 hours a day, and be the god-level version of myself for the other 12.

used to work a 12 hour shit , 3 day work weeks , so I would sleep 3 hours for two days , do chores, and next 4 days play.
M-W shift Thurs night would sleep 12 hours to recover.
Here is the problem , did it for over 16 years and could not sleep more than 3 hours ... driving home fell asleep multiple times.
---changed companies (probably saved my life) 2nd shift.
Now I am retired - bed is midnight up at 7:30 ---- like clock work.

I turned off my gadgets and use night shield during the evening. Too much blue light is harmful, and it made the body produce less melatonin. My sleep is increasing everyday. Might sleep for 8 hours tonight.

6 maybe, it sucks. I really need more sleep, but I hate going to bed early. It's just that I already spend enough of my hours asleep, and working all day; I want to prolong my leisurely hours as long as possible..

And after an actual full active day either of walking around a lot or getting serious exercise, 8 hours is great

Sorry for reviving this one. Thought I'd share my experience.
The sleep quality has as much impact as the quantity for me, so I've taken steps to improve that because I've been having problems sleeping.
I've recently bought a new memory foam mattress from Tempur-Pedic, which supports my body well throughout the night. Along with that, I've invested in a customized pillow from Pluto (https://plutopillow.com/products/pillow). They create a personalized pillow based on your body stats and sleep preferences. It has made my sleep more comfortable. I also picked up some new sheets made of Egyptian cotton. They're so smooth and breathable, which makes getting into bed feel like a little retreat every night.
After using these upgrades to my sleep environment for a while, I can say that they're making a difference. I've been sleeping better, and now I get 7-8 hours of sleep every night. I'll keep monitoring my sleep quality and make further changes if needed.

This is clearly another one of Axe's alts. And I know because this is the way he humors himself with his alts after he's been called out for something. He has done it over and over and over again. Making a post with an alt that relates to whatever I called him out on.
I called him out last night, about responding to me 4 minutes after I made a rare, very late comment (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?516261-NYC-now-officially-has-moto-robbers-Dem-paradise/page2&p=14883095#post14883095). His comment was about sleep and still being up late at night. I mention how Axe is like a ghost, always there, awake at night, even though nobody's there. I called on Jeff to investigate, and so Axe bumps this thread the very next morning with one of his 50+ alts.
People think I'm joking. No, we're dealing with a deranged fat individual.

You literally googled for a sleep related ISH thread, in order to bump it with an alt, because a few hours earlier you were harassing me about me still being awake, 4 minutes after I made a rare late night post. And then you come back with your Axe account making no sense, pretending to be stupid, humoring yourself.
^^So dumb and autistic, he still thinks that my account belongs to another user itb. :oldlol: :facepalm

I sense that Lebron23 has been kind of depressed, ever since he stopped embedding YouTube videos. Which was something that gave him life (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?512532-Exactly-one-year-ago-Patrick-Chewing-taught-Lebron23-how-to-embed-YouTube-videos). And then he stopped it. So that drive to climb the political ladder kind of shattered. And I'm being serious about this.
He went from acquiring the all time ISH record for most embedded YouTube videos in one year, to nothing.
Sleeplessness = aspergers = autism = derangement syndrome = stupid essays and lies
