1. Their policy hasn't been "don't worry, it's just the flu." In fact, quite the opposite. In March they said it was so serious that we would have between 10 million - 31 million hospitalizations from COVID (20-40% hosp rate) and the policy was 15 days to flatten the curve to 10.3 million.

140 days later we have 0.45 million hospitalizations with COVID (~1% hosp rate), hospitals were emptier than ever.

Hell, many small businesses are still illegal to operate. We've given up so much liberty for a virus with a 0.04% IFR in those < 70 years old.. it's insanity.


2. We actually listened to the (quack) scientists. Their names are Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx, Dr. Adams, and the CDC/FDA. Thanks to Trump, they've been in charge since March, and the power-obsessed governors are now micromanaging which foods constitute as meals. 4. She's actually correct on the money policy. We funneled trillions of dollars from taxpayers to big banks & corporate/special interests, while simultaneously providing incentives to be unemployed and stay poor. The populous has been conned by politicians & corporate media into thinking that COVID-19 and police racism are our major problems. Even worse, they think they're solvable by eliminating a third of our workforce, covering our faces with bandannas, and "protesting" (rioting/looting).

In reality, our problems are:

skyrocketing unemployment
skyrocketing debt (personal and gov't)
skyrocketing depression
unaffordable healthcare
broken welfare system
wage stagnation
failed public education system / teacher unions
illegal immigration
forever wars
opioid addiction
homelessness
declining birth rates
widespread civil unrest


and largely ignored by both parties.

The thing is, 'essential employees' are kinda the key dupes in this whole thing.

They should be striking. They should also be refusing to "mask up" at work, to demonstrate that a shut down is not necessary, and that everyone should be back to work.

Farmers should be ignoring the prohibition on "raising prices during a crisis" to send a message the government can't just print money and shut people down and basically devalue the farmer's labor. He's the one who ends up working for the same pay as everyone else sitting at home. Let's see how worried everyone really is about the covid when their unemployment checks aren't covering basic necessities.

I mean the only reason the system actually works when we commit economic suicide like this is because the dupes just kinda do what they're told. I mean it's frustrating on the one hand because you worry about what kind of bullshit these people will line up to go along with next, but at the same time... they're kinda the ones being played for fools the most.
