I was just gonna make a thread about King David being given the choice of famine, war, or plague as punishment in the book of Samuel, and choosing plague. For the reason that famine and war will be seen by the public as things a ruler could have avoided; plague will not.

As far as OPs point, it would be exceptionally fitting. Gadot ofc means in Hebrew, “of the tribe of Gad.”

And the tribe of Gad did reunite with the kingdom of Judah under King David after the death of Saul.

So yeah. I wouldnt see the movie but itd def be a nice touch with the casting.
