Has to be the primary defender the whole series. Great example of this are some of the players who guarded Shaq but I dont think they ahould count because they were aided by an agressive help defense. With that said give me your picks regardless of the situation.

Matt Maloney on Stockton has to be up there. A frontcourt of Olajuwon/Drexler/Barkley yet they cant get a decent pointguard. That was basically the difference in that series.

Lots of those bum ass 80s defenders back when you would actually guard your man without switches until he had cooked you past well done. You would see guys like Gervin on English when neither played any defense by then. Or Bird and Nique when Nique didn’t care about stops and Bird cared but was past his physical prime. Most of the guys on Shaq weren’t bad defenders he just made normal(tall normal) humans look like they weren’t finished puberty.

As a Pacers fan having Kevin Ollie on Jason Kidd was frustrating as hell. It got so bad that they had to convert Mercer to a point guard because Tinsley was hampered by injuries as always.
