Comparing the two players, the current Lakers and former Chicago Bulls coach said Saturday that Bryant has demonstrated a better all-around game than any other player he has coached -- including Michael Jordan.
"Kobe's become the floor leader of a basketball team that was kind of looking for that nature of a player, who could not only be a scorer, but also be a playmaker or consistently make big plays at critical times," Jackson said. They kind of do.

In the 2001 playoffs, Kobe averaged 29/7/6 on 116 ORTG and 99 DRTG. (super elite for a guard) So he was operating on almost Magic/Nash efficiency on high volume and playing all NBA level defense with his team basically sweeping the playoffs. Luka this year also has a 116 ORTG on high volume, and shocker! That efficiency from him has the Mavericks as the #1 offense. (who knew rate of successful shot and play making mattered?) But Luka also posted a 109 DRTG which isn't good. And furthermore, watch what will happen to Doncic's numbers in the playoffs... he is going to get roasted this year with his ball dominant style against great defense.

Kobe. As good of a finisher, better post and mid and as good of a three point shooter. He was much better on the defensive end which is kind of half the game.
