Just emphasizes what people who saw him play have always tried to say. He was no ordinary 7 footer. Definitely weighed a lot more than most realize, was bigger than most realize. Remember, his stature even made rookie Shaq look small and back then even the slimmer (310lb) rookie Shaq was physically bigger and heavier than most if not the entire league at that time.

This was a great find. Up to now, only a photo had surfaced years ago and it wasn't anywhere near as detailed. Mu was almost as tall as Yao and clearly heavier as well (at least compared to an active Yao), yet, I do remember having read that he still was impressed with Wilt's size (he called him almost as big as him), especially his chest, mentioning that he looked really strong.
Is there any info on the year?

He was measured by the Sixers Official at 7'0.5" in the early 1980's according to celebheight.com. His peaked height was 7'1".
