Ben Simmons is a fantastic player, and while there's no doubt the Sixers would downgrade at the center position, they might just be better off dumping Embiid and surrounding Simmons with defenders + shooters just like the traditional LeBron teams.

Simmons talent is not respected for what it is because of the team that he is on.

It'll never happen, Embiid is too good... I'm just thinking out loud. Embiid has been a disappointment to me... not getting on the block a lot more often. Either he needs to go or Brett Brown needs to be fired, unfortunately.

Simmons and Embiid don't truly fit together, and Elton Brand has completely run their future into the ground, lol.

Simmons has DPOY potential. He's ended quite a few games with stops or steals or simply tipping the ball away. He's only gonna get better assuming he stays injury free. He can guard 1-5 unless the 5 is someone that is tall and can play bully ball in the post.

I just put on my reading glasses and went over his metrics. His offensive efficiency is very impressive, but volume low. Like 14-17 ppg low, (pippen level but with much better efficiency) so it's hard to compare him to other stars.

No. You can always play away from a great defender. Can't play around your lead ballhandler having no shooting ability.
