"If I could choose, I would go Clippers-Bucks for the championship and I’ll go with the Clippers," Durant said.
“They’re just so deep," Durant said. "I think once they figure out — because it feels like they haven’t had their team together at once yet for a long period of time — that talent is just undeniable to me when you have PG and Kawhi at the wings. That’s what you need to win is wings. You got those two at the wings arguably the top three, top four at the wing position on one team. And then you have the two best bench scorers. Well not the two best, but the best combo, they perfectly fit with the big and guard.
“Then you have moving parts like a Marcus Morris, who started on other teams, Reggie Jackson, who was a starter, Landry Shamet, who is a sniper, JaMychal Green, Joakim Noah, he’s giving you solid minutes," Durant said. "They can go 11-deep. Zubac, too. They’ve got like 11 players that actually can play and you wouldn’t mind putting on the court and playing."

Durant going to force a trade there. He’s laying the groundwork already

Best or second best player, best team, two superstars, depth, quality coach. It is going to be hard for them to lose. The only reason I won't call them a lock is playoff series are small sample sizes and injuries can happen.

He wasn't just a starter. He was a 20 PPG scorer in NY and he is the 5th or 6th best player on the Clippers. :lol

They have the deepest team by a pretty large margin... and they have stars. No other team has that much depth and two stars. With AB being permanently out, they should easily win it all.

Contract year and terrible team so morris stats were exaggerated a bit. On good teams like Celtics and clippers, morris is a 10-13PPG guy. In both games vs Lakers he scored a total of 0 points, so he has been a disappointment so far. I guess that shows that the best player on the worst team in the league can translate to the 5th or 6th best on a title team.

Durant and I both. I see the Clips as the best team in the NBA. He forgot Lou Will who is 6th man of the year for me.

Good points. Even factoring in the 20 PPG came on a trash team (he was 14 PPG on the Celtics, so that probably is his ceiling on a good team), it is still a luxury to have that as probably your 6th best player. You know he (in theory) has the capability to put up points if called upon. The Lakers don't even have a reliable 3rd scorer.

He says the best duo off the bench. But yes, not mentioning Beverley is funny.

KD averaged 35/5/5 on ~72%TS against the Clippers lol
KD had one bad game, then destroyed them for the rest of the series & Beverley is like their 5th best player, why should he mention him?

Kuzma did average 19PPG last season, so that should be their 3rd option.

Can you rely on him in the PO, especially since the Lakers (if they go all the way) would face quality opponents in rounds 2-4? Between Williams, Harrell, Morris the Clippers should always get solid production from one or two of them--which helps in and of itself and when PG no shows.

Nope! They SHOULD have won it. But they choked their brains out in game 7. I mean it's easy to say that without offering further analysis, but that's exactly what it was. Kawhi and PG missed SO... MANY... JUMPERS... that they would have otherwise probably hit if it weren't a game 7. lol!!!
CHOKED!
Even with the deepest team in the league and the best perimeter defenders as individuals BY FAR, they still got their shit sent packing by a center and a 6'4" guard. I love to see it.
