Yeah. Dame has a different mentality than PG.
Remember him in Twitter in 2012 or 13 saying **** no to going to LAL.
He‘s Portland thick and thin. Going through ups and downs.
Meanwhile PG instead of making something out of the OKC Experience, leaves on a low.

Dame deserves ultimate respect but if you trash talk, celebrate etc... You gotta take it when you lose too. No doubt Beverley likely initiated this, but then you win and laugh at him. He bricked 2 FT to cost his team the game. As for PG, sure he's not as loyal, but he's always wanted to play in LA. He basically begged to come to the Lakers.

Paul George knows he's not good enough to be a #1 so he joined Kawhi. At least he's not delusional like "2nd round time" Damian Lillard. I mean, has lillard ever even won a single conference finals game?

Choked away the season? If they finish 9th they can still play their way into the playoffs.
Their last 3 games are:
Philly without Simmons
Dallas who has nothing to play for and might rest guys.

PG recently turned 30. He's got years to turn his career around. A couple titles, a couple more All NBA teams and it's a totally different narrative.

Exactly. 0-4 BUM. Even young PG took the heat to 7
If Dame had at least 1 ring in his career, I can totally see his argument. But he's usually grinding to just embarrass himself like 2018 playoffs or not even getting as far as PG did with his own team.
Now PG picked to be a robin in a potential dynasty. While Lillard is on the wrong side of a 9th seed. The pace they are going on, George will have a superior legacy.

I love this shit.
PG is really, really, eternally mad at that 30 foot step back or whatever the hell occult trick that was. No beating Portland on a loaded team will soothe it.
I specifically remember the 2014 WCR1.
Bev was in is athletic peak. Actually had Dame’s number the entire regular season. Was probably underrated and never better as a player.
Dame sliced into his DNA with a super thin sword.
Houston was favored going in.
Dame executed him in that series game by game. Especially on the road.
Dame is an assassin who cut them very very deep.

I can understand why Dame was mad, he just blew it for his team to make the playoffs.
Paul George should be over some petty grudge though, he's in the process of the biggest playoff run of his life and on the best team he has ever been on. So george should of just shrugged all this off really.

Missed 2 critical freethrows that would of heavily increased your playoff odds. Despite being like a 88% freethrow shooter? Sounds like choking to me. But they may still make it, just putting more pressure on themselves because Lillard's missed freethrows.

Yeah, but that bench reaction was extra & excessive. Beverly and George are geeking out in a regular-season game because they know Lillard lights them up individually. Paul George knows first hand.

If you're great, you don't constantly whine about being snubbed IMO. Go show the world. Getting swept a bunch of times by 15 ppg margins isn't the way to do it. He's a fantastic player, and by all accounts a great person, but I wouldn't say he's not sensitive based on what we've seen.

Him "whining" about being snubbed or not has nothing to do with being great.
The problem was people / coaches did not accept him being great.
Every honorable man would stand up for oneself in those situations and make some kind of suggestion to being wronged.
"Go show the world" is a dumb statement that has no value in reality.
What does that mean?
It means nothing.
He showed them, and they didnt recognize it.
I just think your interpretation of the word sensitive is way off.
He responded in the most mature badass way in the press conference to being mocked at. Many others wouldnt have dealt with that.
Dame is just an OG, laid low chill guy, doing his thing with his one and only team...
if he was sensitive, he would have gone to a better team years ago where he would have more chances of winning.
Thats what sensitive people do.
But he felt comfortable in his own skin and toughing it out with the Blazers, who he carried hard even this year amidst injuries.

now it's coming out on film that Paul George wasn't even one of the players who waved goodbye at him. Sounds like Dame has his usual victim complex.
