Celtics are already secured of the 3rd seed. They have one of the easiest opponents in the first round against the sixers without Embiid and Simmons.

True. They don't want to risk injury in a meaningless game.

If it's bad karma then every team to rest starters after clinching has bad karma and that's just about every team somewhere in their history. They are trying to keep Kemba Walker healthy. What does it matter to them who LA plays in the first round?

The Celtics do have a small reason to win: they are likely to get the Memphis pick. But the differnce that may make is too small to really care about vs keeping the team healthy.

memphis will have to beat the spurs or trailblazers in a play-in game to get the 8 seed anyway.

They played everyone against Orlando, even to the end of OT with Tatum/Hayward playing 40+ minutes. I think the Grizzlies are really going to have to earn it.
Well it's over now and the grizz lost by 15 points

Yeah let’s rest rusty players that haven’t played for 5 months . Makes sense
Poor ja wouldn't get to play in the postseason in his rookie year. How sad.
