Wow talk about a top 15 all time list

https://ibb.co/pvpxkPb

On a per playoffs appearance basis, that averages out to 3.92 WS/playoff appearance

Playoff WS per playoff run:

1. 3.92 (LeBron)
2. 3.05 (Jordan)

Incredible...

1. 51.0 LeBron (first)
2. 30.76 Jordan (second)

Impressive. This must have resulted to a lot of rings?

so you're saying every time he doesn't win the championship, there's a bug out there getting smashed while going through the standardized position-less, skill test.

Absolutely, second most all-time Finals MVPs. Only one player in the history has more but thankfully LeBron is #1 in many other stats.

Yes, but the level of competition should be taken into account as well when talking Finals MVPs. LeBron's worst opponent was better than Jordan's best. I'd say LeBron's competition amounts to 6 Finals MVPs in worth, or Jordan's competition amounts to 3 Finals MVP in worth.

Is OP stupid or something? WS is a cumulative stat, meaning it's based on their total playing time. Jordan played 179 Playoff games, 60 less than Lebron in 13 Playoff runs, but won twice as many rings.

Career WS/48, Playoffs (Win Shares per 48 minutes)

Jordan .255
Lebron .244

So we're praising Jordan now for being terrible in the regular season and being unable to make long postseason runs now? That was until Pippen came around, of course. No Pip, no chip, after all.

First rounds were BO5 in MJ's era and the East wasn't as easy in the 80s as it was in the 2000s.

Well said, LeBron's competition was a miles away from Jordan's
