Mitch Richmond at age 25 after 3 seasons of 22-23 ppg for a rookie PF and a couple other players, and Chris Webber after his rookie season because he didn't get along with Nelson.

They had Chris Mullin and Tim Hardaway until he was traded in 1995, along with Billy Owens, the main guy they traded Richmond for. They draft Sprewell at #24 in the 92 draft.

They had a potential for a small ball lineup of:

Hardaway
Richmond
Sprewell
Mullin
Webber

Where they could have played some modern version of spreading the floor and shooting threes while pushing the pace. Imagine that team meeting the Bulls in the finals.

Rasheed Wallace is actually your guy to go small, because I'm not sure just exactly why would you pay top dollars on bigs in order to do so. a loaded bench is a much better alternative, isn't it

I remember thinking the Warriors were going to be great for a long time during Webber's rookie season.

Also thought the Mavs had an awesome young core with Jackson, Mashburn and Kidd, but that went to sh!t as well.
