Even though the 8th seed will only be half a game ahead, the 9th seed will have to win 2/2 encounters against the 8th seed.

Even worse, Portland will only be the 8th seed because they get to play an extra game.


Fraudulent stuff by an incompetent league.

I suspect it is a trial balloon for installing a play-in game to the playoff format like MLB did a decade or so ago. I don't think it is a good idea for the NBA, though. The difference in MLB is the final playoff team actually has a legit shot at winning the chip whereas in the NBA the 8 seed is a sacrificial lamb, outside of maybe one team per decade.

OP is the biggest pussyy on ISH. Been crying all week about Blazers and the Rockets. This is like the 20th thread of his meltdown. LeBron stans don't like competition. They always want the easiest path. It's been that way their whole life.

LA will still beat the Blazers handily, if that is the implication. LeBron haters are celebrating early because contempt and jealousy is all they have. Then again that is the way of a hater.
