With only a couple of good/great Centers in today's game where would you put Brook?

You've got Embiid, Adebayo, Jokic, Nurkic, etc.

Brook's averaging 21/5 on 49/49/92.

Giannis playing a part in his lack of rebounding, but Brook is pretty reliable when the ball's in his hands. Can knock it down from anywhere on the floor, decent defensively, and a veteran presence for the Bucks.

dude his improved outside shooting and some nice low post skills makes him possibly top 5 but definitely top 10..

Very good defender, terrific shot-blocker. That jumpshot has gotten filthy, and his post game is nice.

Big part of the reason why Milwaukee should be the favorites.

Not really. Playing next to Giannis makes him look a lot better than he actually is. Every team he was on before he was on the Bucks was basically a bottom worst 10 defensive team. When he put up his career high 20.6ppg the Nets were 29th/30th in defense. His individual impact defensively is and has always been laughable at the Center position. If he was next to Kevin Love instead of Giannis nobody would be talking about how he's "underrated" defensively.

i slightly disagree. he was bad with bkn but started being good with the lakers. lakers were 12th on defense with some legitimately bad defenders like kuzma and randle. the paint protection numbers were really good.

His main problem in that regard wasn't rim protection but instead rebounding... he was a horrific rebounder for his size and mobility. And if you can't secure the board your defense won't be good. Not to mention... those Nets teams blew ass outside him. Nobody outside a top 5 superstar was leading those teams anywhere. He's an elite stretch 3 C perfect for today's game who can guard the rim. That's what it is.

if brook was like 25, he'd be the 3rd best center in the league behind, Jokic and Embitch

His shot, defense, and low post scoring are really freaking good. Wish the bucks went to him more last year in the raps series, but it seems they've learned the error of their ways and they're going to him more in that post instead of him just being a spot-up shooter.
