View Full Version : [Amick] Lonzo Ball no desire as a Pelican, he "checked out" in Orlando

[Amick] Plus, people down in Orlando tell me Lonzo Ball looked like he’d checked out the whole time the Pels were there, and that they expect some significant roster adjustments in New Orleans before next season And I don’t doubt that there may be a desire for a new coach in the Big Easy next season

I agree. Trade everyone except Jrue and the rooks or trade Jrue to a contender and get rid of Lonzo.

The whole team quit on Gentry. Lonzo shot like shit but he tried on both ends of the court. He's not getting traded, he played really well prior to the bubble and he ended up shooting 37.5% from 3 for the season, he's improving.

What's his trade value at this point? Could they get the 15th pick in the draft?

Holiday for Derozan

Get it done. Holiday must be a Spur.

Stop pretending you're a Lakers fan. You just jumped on the bandwagon after LeBron came.

When you look at Lonzo's entire package (mentality and basketball skill/athleticism), he barely seems like an NBA player. I mean, he's a backup point guard on a non-playoff team. He's easily one of the worst scorers in the NBA as well who played decent minutes.

He just seems very unimpressive so far into his career, definitely looking like a bust for a number 2 overall pick.

Lavar Ball promoting him was the reason he was drafted as the 2nd overall pick in the draft. Lamelo ball will have a better career than his older brother.

Bro LaMelo actually looks worse overall to me than Lonzo. I think Melo has some good "highlights", but overall he is not efficient and seems wildly immature. Lonzo at least seems like a mature player. LaMelo has been doing the all show, no substance, low-IQ social media game for this whole time. Seriously, how can people fall for the "Ball" hype again?

Lonzo's advanced stats for his career, playing 32.3mpg by the way which actually makes his impact worse.

12.5 PER, 48.5 TS% (disgusting), .7 BPM (actually negative on offense), 1.1 VORP average per year, 101ORTG, 108DRTG, .055 WS/48...

10.7ppg on 39/34/48.7 splits

These are absolute trash numbers made worse by him playing big minutes per game for the first 3 years. Your team would probably be better with him no on the court at all...which matches the eye test for me since he has a pretty passive mentality on the court as well. The fact that he averages on 1.2 FTA's per game while playing 32.3 minutes is terrible...and to add to that he only shoots 48.7 percents from the line...

Yeah, this dude is a bust.

Bro, I have looked at Lonzo’s package, very closely in fact. It doesnt compare to Lebron’s. Not even close. Theyre night and day. Lebron is bigger.

I’ll take Lonzo. He can be a third stringer here on the Blazers bench. Then he can have the min

Was glad to get rid of that scrub. Young core of losers, as the pelicans have found out.

Hope JJ can land on a better team, he deserves better than that shit show. Couldn't believe when griffin was standing there talking about doctors told him about soft tissue damage and they had to hold Zion out.. fkn joke of a franchise. Thanks for AD losers:lol
