I want to see Jones vs Ngannou, technique vs power.

That fight would make more sense. Winner fights Stipe. But no way Jones takes that. He would rather fight for the title immediately. The thing about Ngannou is he finishes fights so quickly that we cant evaluate his skills other than his knock out power.

anything's possible .. look what happened with cormier .. you land a punch in the right place and all bets are off .. and jones has equal height so anything can happen but it'll be a tough fight either way

Jones has looked terrible since USADA came in.
The only fights he has won convincingly is the one against Cormier where he was juicing, and against Gus the second time, but Gus hasn't won a fight in god knows how long.
Reality is, Jon has been very average off the juice, and if you go by popular opinion as well as media scorecards, he lost his last two fights to both Reyes and Santos. I doubt he beats DC off the juice that second time as well. He has looked like a completely different fighter.
He gets worked by Ngannou.
Think its very interesting he decides to go on a hiatus now when he sees he is dropping off in performance without his pills. Wouldn't be surprised if he somehow comes back looking great again with the lay off and now that fighters have mentioned PED testing has been very relaxed with the COVID situation going on.
