Because he isn't good in the playoffs. Some rise to the occasion, others falter in big moments. The Beard has always been a guy who hasn't shown up in the playoffs. He gets knocked out by the Warriors pretty much every year and the one year he didn't was probably his most embarrassing.

2012 Harden and 2014 Kawhi were both put in similar positions during their pre primes as both were on great teams in the finals. One stepped up and dominated and the other completely vanished. That has basically been the story of their careers since that time as well.
