View Full Version : Is Durant's longevity underrated?

Very aware that he just missed an entire season...but longevity of prime is really what matters. A guy like Kobe may have played "20 seasons", but only about 13 of those truly mattered for his prime.

Durant is about to enter his 14 season next year (man time flies), and excluding his rookie year, Durant has put up 27/7/4 on 50/39/88 splits. 769 games with those numbers.

I am very interested to see how Durant is next year, but Durant was on a Lebron-like longevity streak until the achilles injury.

He's kind of injury prone actually.

2014-15 he missed basically the whole year

2016-17 only played 62 games

2019 playoffs injured on two different occasions and only made it to 2nd round pretty much

2020 missed entire season
