I love it how everyone talks like the post season is the only thing that matters. It seems like they are giving players a shortcut to be all time greats by just performing in the post season. I’m one of the few that views regular season mvp>>>>finals mvp. I think the main player this benefits is Kawhi. Can’t say Lebron really cuz he balls out in both.

Playoffs matter more and everyone starts giving full effort instead of taking plays off but sample size is always an issue with less games. It’s easy to argue a star played bad because of a few bad shooting games because it’s often true.

Donovan Mitchell’s shot 11/26 from 3 for 2 games and likely going have a 30ppg efficient series this series even if he plays mediocre rest of series. Doesn’t mean he’s suddenly a great playoff performer
