Correct me if I'm wrong but Luka even at 21 is more accomplished internationally than Giannis is, isn't he?

At the end of their careers is it fair to say that at their current trajectory Luka projects to be the greatest international player ever in the NBA?

what he was able to achieve so far in his young career is a scene out of a movie, like he's destined for greatness. I've been watching him grow since 2014...

he's the greatest leader and winner I've ever seen. mavs' teamwork and chemistry, where everybody eats and has a time of their lives is not a coincidence. we've seen this before in real madrid youth/proffesional team and Slovenian national team.

I think he should aim to be GOAT, not only greatest international.

Age 16 - started to play for Real Madrid
Age 18 - played EL Final Four as Real Madrid starter
Age 19 - Won EL title, season MVP and final four MVP as Real Madrid star
Age 19.5 - Won Eurobasket as Slovania star (Starters except Dragic were Vidmar, Muric, Blazic :facepalm)
Age 20 - 21.2/7.8/6.0 in NBA - ROY
Age 21- 28.8/9.4/8.8 in NBA - All Star
Age 21.5 - 35.0/7.5/8.0 in NBA Playoffs*

Sounds like chosen one?

That was also lebron's stats in his playoffs series debut. Anyway he's going to have a rival next season and he is a filipino american. His name is Jalen Green

2006 Washington Wizards with Arenas, Jamison, and Butler would do some major damage in today's NBA.

Op obviously hasn't watched basketball before 2015, doesn't realize that giannis was drafted as the 15th overall pick 7 years ago and the bucks had the worst record in his maiden season.

Meanwhile, luka came to the league as a decorated player and was the 3rd overall pick in 2018.

At this point I would say yes, because Giannis looks like his game stalls a bit in the playoffs, whereas Luka (granted with a 2 game sample size) doesnt seem to have that issue.

I still think Giannis will *probably* be the more potent player at his peak if he keeps improving. He obviously has the potential physically, altho hes not as good as Lebron was at his age so maybe he just doesnt quite have an elite “it” factor and never will. Time will tell.

Hes obviously improved continuously, so we’ll just have to see when the improvement stops. If hes reached his peak right now, then yes Luka is better. But we’ll see.

Don’t drop Jamisons name, all you LeBron stans did was hate on him when he played with Bron.

He will have 2 at at 25 after they award it for the 20' season. He should finish with 4-5. I doubt this will be his last MVP.

You guys have dementia.. The Suns had the first pick and the Suns had his former coach.. but they went with hometown Big Ayton..

Doncic plus Booker would have been fun... scored 140 a game, while giving up 150
