The last hero of late night was Craig Ferguson, who left alongside David Letterman. After that, there has been nothing nearly as funny. Which is crazy to think how insane Craig was with Geoff, his gay robot skeleton side-kick, and the horse. Apparantly he was actually in a loophole where his hour of television wasn't owned by the company, but the company actually gave ownership of that time to David in an attempt to keep him on. It worked, and because of that we have the phenomenal foundary that is Craig flerting with his guest and basically just being a chill, funny dude.

kimmel is a real cocsucker...... late night was good when Letterman, Jay Leno, Conan, was at their peak.... back then you could joke about everyone and everybody. now you can't, so of course the shows now are awful.

The Office was pretty good in the earlier seasons... specifically like 2 through 4 iirc, which is when most shows peak.

The cast has started to perfect their characters, the jokes aren't stale and forced, and you get brilliance.

Season 1 of most shows is usually much lower production quality and the actors and writers haven't quite hit their strides yet... then after like season 3 or 4, most shows tend to start going down because they rehash the same thing and lose all of their original ideas and the dialogue becomes stale. Of course, this is not an absolute statement, just generally speaking.
