I love it!

As we know, you spur economic growth NOT by giving the top brackets tax cuts.

Supply side economics is a conservative ponzi scheme.

You get the economy going by giving the little guys a leg up -- all the studies confirm this.

Now, if we could only reform certain aspects such as loopholes (business/corporations, expenses etc...)

Just my 2 sense...

yes then the Gov uses that money to create jobs for the little guy...then the little guy has money to buy junk from the wealthy...everyone wins

DEMAND is what creates jobs...not just wealthy people having more money (trickle down)...it doesn't matter how rich business owners are if there is no one out there to buy their shit

I ask because most of the time people proposing income tax increases don't actually target who they're trying to tax (ie Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg). They usually just say "people who made 100k-250k+ last year"

no doubt... tragically there seems to be a large number of clueless leftists who think theres no difference between a dentist who earns 250k/yr, and a billionaire oligarch who thinks its a bad quarter if they *only* earned 500m.

I just think it's the wrong focus. If you want more money to go from the most rich, it should be done in a way where it doesn't have to go through the government first.
Like when Bernie Sanders point to Denmark and say "look at their minimum wage and how great it is", we should make a law for it."
In Denmark, there's no minimum wage law.

When I am dictator of this dumpsterfire of a country, my first order of business is going to be confiscating 80-90% of the wealth held by our ruling oligarch sociopaths like Gates, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Buffet, Musk, Ellison... etc.

Once I confiscate all the oligarchs money, I will turn around and offer it all as a prize for winning the first annual "most racist joke of all time" contest

the "philanthropist" known as Dr Bill Gates saw his wealth increase by ~10b in the first 3 months of the lockdown... the same lockdown that he was advocating in favor of every day on national tv.

seriously tho, why arent people bothered by the fact that the #1 advocate for lockdowns and covid fear in general has profited tremendously off the situation he helped to create?

How about

Middle class should pay zero taxes

I don’t think that’s the case. Musk is just mocking them as soon as Tesla whooped the Q2 wallstreet expectation on July 2. Now doubling it for less than 2 months makes sense about the short squeeze. Short sellers lost about 25 billion since then. Either that or the hype ahead on battery day made a lot of buyers intrigued .
