I hear a lot of disrespect for this guy based on his appearance. Anyone study his game up close? He was a solid 20-5-5 guy at one point in the 90's which was not a pace and space era but more of a work it inside and take long-two's era. Does he do better today? Or worse? Discuss

Easily a 20-5-5 guy if you put him in a system like Rick Carlisle offense.

He'd put up amazing numbers...

25-8-8 at minimum

16 ppg, 5 rpg, 5 apg. Probably got measured at 6'1 to 6'2 in today's without shoes measurement.

20/5/5 as his PHX peak and 19/4/7 as his PHI peak. He would be better today since he was a great shooter, defenses are weaker now, and spacing is better--the last two factors mean he would get a lot more open looks than he did in the 90's.

Hayward isn't the shooter Hornacek was and Redick isn't the playmaker he was

Would be the equivalent of Manu Ginobili in this era.

No they're saying if he was in the league NOW, not during his 90s 10 ppg Finals run

I looked up his last Finals series. 11 ppg on 41%. Not impressed. Maybe he comes off the bench in the G-league

Sickening

LeBron's facing #2 Finals options like 26 ppg Russell Westbrook and 28 ppg Curry but MJ got good ol' 10.7 ppg Hornacek :lol What a joke.

Same Hornecek who beat Hakeem/Barkley/Drexler and then Duncan/Robinson and then Shaq/Kobe/Van Exel/Jones and dominated them. Yet Lebron was getting worked by old Duncan in his peak seasons. That is sickening.

Poor man's Malik Newman. He would average maybe 90 seconds per season.
