PS5 is coming out soon. I’m sure we all need some excitement. But are you getting it day one? And will Best Buy have a Black Friday?

I usually wait a while to get a new console, probably do the same. I still play with my PS3 now and then...I'm psyched for the Battlefield 3 Remaster

Wonder what PS5 will cost.

Generally speaking Playstations have cost as much as the top Apple phone. PS4 - Iphone 5 were both ~300 new.

PS5 I would guess will be around Iphone 12 price -- 600ish

Just a random guess based on other tech

There are two versions.

One that can only run digital copies of games and the usual regular one. It has like at least $100 difference in terms of srp.

Well there are 2 versions, right? Digital only version and complete version w/ blu-ray drive. I'm guessing digital only will be $400 and complete version $500.

Everyone knows they always take a loss on the console, which they make back with games. They can absorb a $100 loss per console especially with how they sell games. $60 for base game and then $10 per DLC/release multiple DLCs to run up the price tag. Or the new business model with Final Fantasy 7 by releasing incomplete games over a few years, which I bet we will begin to see more of. I hate it so much, but they don't care. Anything to make more money.
