If you watch his feet, he took off inside/on the line with both feet. He had 8 seconds when he got the ball, and the Clippers had about 18 seconds when Lou crossed half court. It was relatively low percentage shot given that much time and what kind of shots Kawhi is capable of getting, and that Lou could have penetrated instead, or the team could have run a play instead of having five guys standing around the three point line.

Here's the thing. Analytics doesn't matter at the end of games when you only have one shot, except that you want the highest percentage shot you can get. And that's not a long contested shot unless you have no better option.
Also, rewatching some of the game, I see Luka air balled three threes. Bad airballs on fall-away shots.
