Good sign for the Lakers, but they better be elite defensively all the way through with the kind of range shooting they are prone to have.

Portland has talent so this isn't completely irrelevant but each team had only faced one opponent in the playoffs so it's not that meaningful either. The stat could be greatly impacted just by Lillaird not hurting his knee.

What? The Blazers were down by 30 when he went out. :oldlol:

They shot pretty decently since game 2. Last night they shot like 62% from the field and 58% from 3.

Theyll be fine

Or the other way around, the Lakers allowed just 2 points in the first 2:39 of the 3rd before Davis sat out, Blazers scored 34 points for the rest of the quarter. Lakers were shutting down Portland prior to Dame's injury, they have been after the first quarter of Game 1.

And the important thing is he went out. Played 10 mintes less than his regular season average. He's by far their best offensive player and that effects the statistic that only measures 4 games.

And yet he averages 36 and 9 vs LA. The man has an impact.

Watching some defensive highlights of Game 4. They were great in disrupting the 3 points shooting of the Blazers. Lots of fast breaks points, and nice blocked shots by Anthony Davis, and LBJ.

As of now I think the team is really good at contesting mid-range shots, most likely the best at doing so.

They looked solid at the perimeter as well but I believe they will have a better test in the Houston series since their game is based on chucking up 3s all day
