BLM did more for Trump in Wisconsin than any amount of campaigning there would have. :oldlol: Although Trump was probably going to win Wisconsin anyway.

I want a red California. C'mon BLM, go burn down LA and San Francisco!

What's the context that was clearly omitted?

Did she just run up and start harassing them or did they say some shit to set her off?

If that's true, that's absolutely absurd.

Whether that state votes for Trump or not, they should still burn those cities down.

I want out of this ban bet dawg. I made it thinking Bernie would be the nominee, I hate being beholden to Biden (whom I hate and refuse to vote for). You won we can work out some details but I’m not about to get permabanned over that idiot Biden ****ing up an easy win (all he has to do is support M4A and he refuses :lol). I still am willing to do our bet with the MAGA hat and BLM shirt if Trump does/doesn’t get 40% of the black vote tho but we can get rid of that if you want.

Democrats trying to unseat an incumbant president by running on zero issues, zero policies, zero theme. Except.....they are not Trump.

Not surprised.

It's reminiscent of the 1968 election. Although most Americans were against the Vietnam war by that time, they were scared of the terrorist groups like the Black Panthers and the Weather Underground that had hijacked the movement. They became Nixon's "silent majority" and swept him into office.

Yep, probably the only thing that can save Trump is for these protests to keep on going and going and going...turn people off who agree with the overall message with the actions of these groups.

Agree, but Trump and the GOP are also running without without any semblance of a platform, gone is the populism that got him into office in 2016.

Both campaigns are a mess TBH.

True, I understand that their convention and campaign is also devoid of these things. Seriously, both parties suck. I will very reluctantly vote for Biden simply on the basis of the people he will appoint to his cabinet. I don't even expect that he will make it through his term.

Even I'm bored of it. I support the black lives matter movement, but I think you have to look at the circumstances of these shootings and the numbers.

First for circumstances - I think you have to consider the fact that if you are trying to arrest someone and he runs to his car, he might be trying to get a gun or something. I would be scared if I was the cop too. They warned the guy to stop but he didn't. He began opening the door so what choice do you have?? They did not have to shoot 7 times though. That sounds like shooting to kill..

Circumstances from the black guy's perspective - he was scared too of what the cop would do. I don't know if he was trying to make a getaway or what, but what did he think would happen? Cops weren't going to just let him drive off or do whatever he was trying to do running to the car.

As for the numbers, there will be a shooting each month (averages 12 a year if you had 1 shooting each month) so we going to protest every shooting now? There are obviously corrupt cops but think about how many people get stopped each year for various reasons. From hundreds of millions of stoppings annually, there will be a small number of shootings by cops no matter what. Unless if you disband all police or send cops out there without guns, shootings will happen each year.

You can get rid of choke holds, make a lot of minor policy changes and increase funding to poor neighborhoods, which I'm all good with. You can also fire police departments, retrain and re-hire your top cops, but if anyone thinks shootings will stop completely, they will not. Attention has been brought up over last few years, but shootings are not new. I don't have a suggestion or solution, but what I do know is people are already starting to tune it out unfortunately.

Great comparison. Thanks

I was under the impression the majority blames Trump for the riots

The media reported today that the polls in all battleground states are tightening. If they are admitting to that, it means that they dont want Dems to become complacent. It also likely means that Trump is actually winning.

That's a good thing, complacency by Democrats actually affected the 2016 outcome. Dems need to go vote as if Biden is down in the polls, that's how y'all did it in 2016.

It's a turn out game, let's do this bitch.

If blacks come out in force (because of Harris), y'all are toast.
