R.I.P. He was a decent actor.

I remember him from The Express, 42 and Black Panther/Avengers. What else was he in? I recall I used to confuse him with Michael B Jordan.

He was great in Marshall and the only good reason to watch 21 Bridges. His career was just taking off :(

Wow, that’s really sad. Apparently he was doing all those movies while fighting and getting treatment for cancer.

Cancer is still the number one killer out there. It doesn’t care who you are or how old you are. RIP.

The fact that this man had cancer and went through chemo while filming Civil War, Black Panther, Marshall, Infinity War, End Game, and 21 Bridges and STILL stayed in great shape shows just how much he was committed to his craft. I admire this guy for staying strong since his diagnosis and not showing any signs that he was in poor health. He also seemed like a genuinely good dude

Rest in Power, Chadwick.

Black Panther meets Black Mamba circa 2018

Whenever the cancer is in guts it's even more scary

My brothers wife's mom got it and she ate extremely healthy and exercised every day. She looked good even in her early 50s before she died. Hell even in her 40s she was turning heads. Total MILF.

Can't remember if she had colon or cervical cancer, one of those 2 I think but she was gone within 6 months of being diagnosed. I wonder if she had been fatter, she would have lasted longer?

And worse, his haters called him 'crack panther' when they saw him like that months earlier. Such inhumanity. :facepalm

Those fools didn't know that he was battling against colon cancer for more than 3 years already.

Really scary that cancer can hit that young in life... that can happen to any of us.

When someone young dies in always relieved of its an OD or something we can avoid. But cancer scares the shit out of me... its coming for many of us... hopefully later rather than sooner.

With Mr. Boseman dying it kind of changes the whole feeling of this scene...being the first Avenger through the portal...

I wouldn't mind if they bring Killmonger back to life somehow, give him a redemption ark and let him become the new Black Panther. Michael B Jordan needs to stay in the MCU. Too bad they will most likely give Shuri the mantle

The dude was carrying T'Challa role and doing many MANY other stuff during his prime while secretly having obviously gruelling cancer treatments for 4 years.

Respect and RIP :(

While it can strike young, cancer is mostly a disease of over consumption. Yea you can have the odd case of somebody that's exposed to some crazy chemical or has some outlier genetic mutation, but generally people that die from cancer are older people with a cumulative lifetime of bad habits.

:( His career was just taking off and he was going to do even bigger things. Sucks that audiences won't see what else he could have done.

As for Black Panther 2 speculation...there's precedent in the comics for Shuri (the sister) to take on the Black Panther mantle and Letitia Wright would probably do fantastic. But unless they have some heart-shaped herb that didn't get destroyed by Killmonger, not sure how they write themselves into this one. Hell, I have to wonder if Coogler even wants to be involved without Chad there.

Just because he lost weight doesn't mean he's really healthy
