Basically the story goes...

The initial coroner report found that Floyd had way over the lethal limit of fentanyl in his system, combined with methamphetamine, and that Chauvin's restraint technique with the knee to the neck is/was part of the department's on the books restraint techniques, and that between those two facts and the fact that he couldn't have known about Floyd's pre-existing heart condition, his charges should be dismissed. His lungs were 2-3x the normal weight of someone's lungs because they filled up with blood?

The report said something to the effect of, if Floyd was found dead in his home, based on the lack of marks elsewhere on the body and no determinable trauma to the neck or anywhere else, they would have concluded that his death was simply an overdose.




All that being said, my personal opinion hasn't changed that Chauvin was at a bare minimum a complete asshole for leaving his knee in the man's neck for all that time, BUT... here's the important question and reason for the thread...


If, somehow, Derek Chauvin is acquitted, how hard will the country burn? I can't imagine that every major city wouldn't see wide scale riots. That shit wouldn't burn itself out in 24 hours, either.

I had a suspicion this was going to be tough as soon as I saw info from the autopsy. Huge amounts of fentanyl which suppresses respiration, too much and you stop breathing. He also had the killer Covid which supposedly kills people in his age group, even healthy ones who arnt on overdose levels of fentanyl. Covid also suppresses respiration....There you have it.

It’s very true and I think this is also a reason why Rittenhouse was charged with so many severe charges so quickly. They were trying to prevent backlash spreading from the news of him not getting what people think he should get.

But at this point, this shit has to get nipped in the bud. We can’t as a country keep kneeling to these terrorists’ demands. These guys are terrorists, don’t let it get misconstrued any other way.
