View Full Version : Apparent Bernie bro explains voter fraud

“There is no race in New Jersey — from City Council to United States Senate — that we haven’t worked on,” the tipster said. “I worked on a fire commissioner’s race in Burlington County. The smaller the race the easier it is to do.”
A Bernie Sanders die-hard with no horse in the presidential race, he said he felt compelled to come forward in the hope that states would act now to fix the glaring security problems present in mail-in ballots.
“This is a real thing,” he said. “And there is going to be a f–king war coming November 3rd over this stuff … If they knew how the sausage was made, they could fix it.”
Mail-in voting can be complicated — tough enough that 84,000 New Yorkers had their mailed votes thrown out in the June 23 Democratic presidential primary for incorrectly filling them out.
But for political pros, they’re a piece of cake. In New Jersey, for example, it begins with a blank mail-in ballot delivered to a registered voter in a large envelope. Inside the packet is a return envelope, a “certificate of mail in voter” which the voter must sign, and the ballot itself.
That’s when the election-rigger springs into action.
He would have his operatives fan out, going house-to-house, convincing voters to let them mail completed ballots on their behalf as a public service. The fraudster and his minions would then take the sealed envelopes home and hold them over boiling water.
“You have to steam it to loosen the glue,” said the insider.
He then would remove the real ballot, place the counterfeit ballot inside the signed certificate, and reseal the envelope.
“Five minutes per ballot tops,” said the insider.
The insider said he took care not to stuff the fake ballots into just a few public mailboxes, but sprinkle them around town. That way he avoided the attention that foiled a sloppy voter-fraud operation in a Paterson, NJ city council race this year, where 900 ballots were found in just three mailboxes.
“If they had spread them in all different mailboxes, nothing would have happened,” the insider said.
Inside Jobs
The tipster said sometimes postal employees are in on the scam.
“You have a postman who is a rabid anti-Trump guy and he’s working in Bedminster or some Republican stronghold … He can take those [filled-out] ballots, and knowing 95% are going to a Republican, he can just throw those in the garbage.”
In some cases, mail carriers were members of his “work crew,” and would sift ballots from the mail and hand them over to the operative.

Trump had a voting committee formed led by Mike Pence to look into voter fraud. They found a few isolated cases, but nothing widespread. Did Trump and his crew not do a good job investigating?
Here's an idea: do not give your mail-in ballot to anyone else claiming they will mail it for you.
Do the voting committees keep track of whether you voted and who you voted for? I think they should then you can verify who you voted for using your d.o.b+ss number and ensure your vote was not altered. We need to update our voting systems by making all that metadata available electronically & online.
Everything seems to be setup to be leading to Trump declaring mail-in-vote is all invalid if he loses the election and claiming victory. I hope he loses by a huge landslide like Obama did and it all is moot at that point.

I doubt this is a big deal for Trump tbh.
Most of the people helpless enough to fall for the old “let me fill that out for you and dont worry I’ll send it back” trick would probably be voting Dem anyway.

Another reason why Trump isn't that bright...mail in voting more often than not favors Republicans. So if Biden looks like he's winning on election night and say after all the mail in ballots are counted Trump is declared winner, his own arguments could be used against him. There have been studies and investigations on mail in voter fraud, they've never found substantial evidence. of it. Honestly, Trump doesn't like his chances so obviously he wants to discredit these elections just like he tried last time when he actually won.

Theres a lot of stupid shit in this post (its truly inspiring how much idiotic nonsense you are able to pack into a couple sentences), but IMHO the dumbest statement by far is the suggestion that trump tried to discredit the last election.
Why on earth would any candidate attempt to discredit an election where they won? Can you cite some specific examples of what you are talking about?

You used to be a credible poster, you're insane nowadays. Claiming that millions of illegals voted (thus explaining his 3 million national popular vote loss) is by definition, discrediting an election.

"Discrediting" an election is attempting to contest the results after the fact... kind of like Hillary did.
All of the statements made by Trump in your link were made a month before the election took place, they all came out of the same campaign speech where he spent a few minutes riffing about the potential for fraud.
Sorry to hear that you think I have gone downhill lately. You have always been insane and never remotely credible so I guess things havent really changed for you huh?

Glad to see you agree I was right and you were wrong... by the way, Trump claiming HRC won the popular vote after he won the electoral college because of millions of illegals voting, is in effect, discrediting a result :confusedshrug:

Do you remember that Trump created a committee to look into voter fraud for 2016? He was upset he lost popular vote by millions of votes to Hillary so that was why he started that investigation, which concluded in mid-2018.
When they found nothing, certainly not widespread, the investigation was quietly closed with minimal media coverage.
Republican President Donald Trump convened the commission to investigate the 2016 presidential election after making unsubstantiated claims that between 3 million and 5 million ballots were illegally cast. Critics, including Dunlap, reject his claims of widespread voter fraud.

Barr is obviously getting ready to build a case on November 4th on behalf of his boss that mail-in-ballots are fraudulent and don't count, especially when Trump loses

You're not looking at this thing objectively, instead you're all hung up on the tag line that "it's not proven" beforehand.
I'm telling you, no other serious Western country would run a vote like this, it would never be approved as safe enough to use.
Maybe it's because that deep down you're ok with a bit of cheating, if it gets Trump out of office one way or the other.

1. It aint that deep down for him.
2. He’d be okay with a lot more than just a bit.

You sound paranoid. Do you also come from the camp that believes millions and millions of votes in 2016 were fraudulent?
Mail-in-voting began during the Civil War so it's not something new. Many Republican presidents have won with mail-in voting.
There is no evidence that mail-in voting increases electoral fraud. A recent Washington Post analysis found 0.0025 percent of votes were deemed possibly fraudulent in the 2016 and 2018 elections. In 20 years and 250 million mail-in votes, there have been only 143 criminal convictions related to fraudulent absentee ballots.
In the 2016 presidential election, 33 million votes—almost one-quarter of the total—were cast by mail. President Trump appointed a commission to investigate voter fraud after claiming that millions illegally voted. It later disbanded without evidence to support his claim.https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/2020/08/how-mail-in-voting-began-on-civil-war-battlefields/
Nobody was quacking about mail-in-voting until Donald came along. His own committee found nothing except a few isolated cases, so why are you worried? ..unless if you believe Donald's committee wasn't qualified or didn't do a good job. But hey, Donald hires only the best so I will go along with his findings.

You casually throw the conspiracy theory out there, that the US President and Attorney General are working together to crash the current election, so it's a bit hard pressed to call others paranoid..
Do you dispute that the voter rolls have people on addresses that either no longer live at the residence, or have since passed away? What I'm telling you is that other serious Western countries would not run their vote like this, sending out ballots to all registered residents, when they know that in many cases those lists are not correct.
I don't know if there were millions of fraudulent votes in 2016. By definition, successful voter fraud is not caught.
What we do know though is that in the 2016 election, no less than 92.000 mail in votes were actually rejected due to officials claiming mismatching signatures per Wikepedia.
Of course the interview with the Bernie guy who admits to widespread voter fraud could be completely fake, but the process around universal mail in voting is still ripe with potential fraud being committed in many directions and would not be allowed to happen in other Western countries because of this.

We know Trump has not exactly made a case against mail-in-ballots until covid-19 began. Before covid, he was all about in-person voter fraud with people voting multiple times and illegals getting in to vote in droves, etc. The goalposts have moved to mail-in-ballots because he knows that majority of democrats will vote from the mail this year due to covid. He knows that could be where he can cause chaos if he can get most of those mail votes thrown out. He tried to screw with the usps, which back-fired. He still continues to cry about mail-in-ballots when he has always voted by mail himself. Barr has also done all he can from his end to throw negative light on mail-in-ballots only after his boss Trump.
It's clear the two are working to lay the groundwork to dispute all mail-in-ballots if Trump wins in-person votes, which he will because majority of democrats (perhaps as high as 80%) will be voting through mail. Majority of his his voters don't believe covid is a real threat (they see it as the common cold or flu) and just a Democrat ploy to get Trump out. They will mainly be voting in person.
Nobody was complaining about mail-in-ballots until covid struck (that includes you too). It's an issue now to Republicans because it could be used to the Republicans advantage to get the mail-in-ballots tossed out. If that could be done after the election is done then Trump probably wins. The complaint before was illegals voting in-person and people voting multiple times. Now it's the mail-in-ballots. What will it be next? The machines register Republican votes incorrectly or perhaps the voting committee is changing the votes after your vote is in? What will the next goal post be?

There are issues with the election process in general and Trump has always advocated for voter ID, another thing other serious countries wouldn't run their elections without.
And there's no new thing, it's always been the misuse of identities of former residents who are still registered to a household when they shouldn't be. What Barr says is that it'll be even easier when ballots are mailed out to all those addresses.
And this is not a new issue, these are videos from 2012 also highlighting it.

Donald is obviously moving the goalposts. He is threatened that Biden might beat him. If he wasn't complaining about mail-in-voting, it would be about illegals voting in droves for Biden or democrats voting multiple times. It's the same old story with him - he is the boy who cried wolf.

So we went full circle..
You are not looking at this objectively. The US voting process is very flawed and open to abuse.
Trump has been saying this for a long time and have arguing for voter ID.
Why do the people you support argue against voter ID? It's one of the most absurd political issues of all time.
No other serious country runs their vote in a way where you don't have to ID yourself in order to vote, and they don't send out ballots to former residents who haven't been unregistered properly.
92.000 mail in votes were discarded in 2016..
