kobe's faced better but you have to adjust for a shortened season with 99, 12, and this year
Kobe Becomes 25. He beat Houston in 1999 , who had record of more than 50 wins if adjusted.
31 - 19, Adjusted to 82 games becomes 51 - 31.
Lebron Becomes 16, as in 2012 he Beat both Indiana - OKC with adjusted records to 82 games.
25 - 16, OR 24 - 14 whatever way you look at it.

there is no other way to look at it than 25-16. you obviously adjust as otherwise rankings lose sense when we just skip one year

Good luck OP.
Pacers were 49-32 in 2013. I forget why they missed a game.
Kobe averaged 3.7 PPG versus the Sonics in 98, why is he getting credit for that?

70?

Or we could just do playoff series wins..
LeBron = 36 (FIRST all time)
Kobe = 33
If we eliminate series where you aren't first option then Kobe misses out on A LOT more credit for "playoff series wins"
Yikes :lol

Yes, because Kobe never led the teams in ppg in a Playoff series win before 2008.. add on the Kings & Spurs wins in '01, Spurs '02, Wolves '03, Spurs & Wolves in '04 and you still have Kobe at 16 wins against 50+ win teams as the clear-cut #1 option.
Wade was the leader in ppg when the Heat beat the Celtics in '11, we should take that one off from Lebron's side as well.

Why aren’t you counting the teams LeBron beat that would have won 50 games if they played 82 games? #exposed

Because of the 2013 boston marathon bombings when the game between the pacers and the celtics was supposed to take place in the td garden

If we adjust this year wins. It is 25 - 18.
But I am bumping this thread to mention if we adjust Miami Heat record, they are not 50 win team.
44 - 29 record, adjusted would be 49 - 33.

I'd say start from 2001 for Kobe when he was arguably top 3 in the league. 2000 or before he wasn't.

Duh, those are 100% Shaq series wins.
Kobe wasn't a #1 option until 2008 so start from 2008. Maybe we can give him credit from 2004 to current.
Kobe, 2004 to retire = 12

How about, against 55+ wins and 60+ wins teams? The likes of 50-32 Blazers and 51-31 Timberwolves, are much closer to 45-49 wins first round teams, than 55-65 wins title contenders.

This is deceptive. It excludes 50 win caliber teams in the shortened 12' season. OKC was a 58 win pace team, IND a 52 win pace team.
The OP was before this year's postseason but the Nuggets and Rockets were 50+ win teams over a full season.
The actual total is 18.
