Good video. Puts out some concerns about Westbrook’s impact that he and harden still have fit issues.

Problem for rockets is they don’t want to upgrade shooting while sacrificing defense. Having a bad defender ruins their switching. Like a jj redick would get targeted so often.

Still look to move Gordon for a better shooter who can still defend and maybe tucker since he’s getting older. Ibaka is tall but fits exactly what they want to do with previous chemistry with harden/Westbrook. Not sure how they pull it off however.

If they were great at it it wouldn’t be so much a play style as common sense. If they had Steph, Klay, Jj and 2 Korvers off the bench they would get fewer complaints.

Dantonis thing is winning long term in the game off sheer volume even if you miss a lot because 3>2 lets you miss more and helps open up layups.

His strategy isn’t based on the players. The players play to his strategy.

This is why BenMac can't get any minutes. In the 3 mins on the court they searched him out and whoever they tried to hide him on scored or got fouled. He's been a great shooter all year. Even Covington who is a very good defender was the one Chris Paul wanted on him. Covington is a better help defender than a 1 on 1 defender. And as you know he had his way with him at the end of the game.
