What are you talking about? There has been numerous tributes to John Thompson and he was fighting for equality for years. He did what the NBA did this past week by walking out of a game and Patrick Ewing recently posted a tribute video to him titled "Black Lives Matter." There has been few figures in sports that truly signified what Black Lives Matter was all about more than John Thompson. He was a pioneer and a legend. RIP.
