East
3 Sweeps and one gentleman's sweep.

West

Two game 7s, a Clippers team that needed Kawhi to be all peak Conference Finals mode to win in 6, and a Portland team that bowed out in 5 but still made 3 out of their 4 losses interesting.

Can't wait to see who will win the game 7s.

I think this is the best round 1 we've seen in the West since 2014 when the Mavs pushed the Spurs to 7, OKC and Memphis went to 7 (On KD's Mvp year) and Clips - Warriors was a nailbiter too. (The only 'short series' was Houston - Portland and that ended on a game 6 lillard buzzer beater)

Do not forget Porzingis / Powell/ Hood/ ARIZA/ Collins injuries that ruined the other two series. Or else it was very possible Clippers - Lakers get eliminated.

It's the first year of the decade. Give it time, I think 2025 might have the greatest 1st round in the history of the NBA.

To be honest every year has injuries.

We'll never get an injury-free first round. But I do agree Zingis being hurt takes away from it all.

But you also need to consider that on a regular season Portland is never an 8 Seed. Honestly it should be duking it out with Denver or Utah right now--Not facing the Lakers. (Or Golden State next year.)

West coast AKA the best coast.

That Thunder/Rocket game yesterday was nice. One of the first ALL postseason that felt like a bigass game.

Hopefully G7 will deliver.

West has more average teams. Meanwhile the East has stronger teams that take care of business

* 1 v. 8 in the West was for more competitive last year than this year.

* The 2nd round has been awful in the West.

* Raptors/Celtics has been the best playoff series so far.
