the only gangs that you listed that are in chicago are the kings, lords, stones and sypos. there are no bloods & crips here despite what you may hear. folks & people were (and still somewhat are) two umbrella organizations that originated in the prison system some time ago (the nineties?) that the majority of chicago gangs aligned themselves with due to the gang wars going on at the time. people & folks as organizations are barely honored anymore, but gang bangers still rep it.

there's major gangs in chicago that people outside of the city never even heard of that have been around since the sixties and seventies. the saints, royals, popes, cobras, bishops, party players just to name a few. lots of bloody wars over the years, i've heard some crazy stories.

believe it or not, a lot of hispanic and some blacks gangs were originally formed as a means of protection due to being bullied by white immigrants like the italians and irish. one gang i remember hearing was originally a softball team, lol.

You guys read the article? The idea is to shoot a cop while his weapon is drawn AND film it in order to gain national attention.

Also they make it sound as if dozens of gang leaders all gathered together at a big evil round table in a hidden warehouse to make this pact...like a fckin Batman movie or something :lol That's just not how the streets work, most of these people are incapable of agreeing on something like this.
