Both teams have veteran trios (curry, klay, and dray/duncan, ginobili, and parker). Kerr and Pop are both elite coaches. Kawhi was drafted to be a defensive role player and later developed his game thanks to the Spurs coaching staff and veterans. I think the same thing will be said for Wiseman.

Or we package something for Simmons or Giannis.

Spurs drafted George Hill

They didnt formally draft Leonard, but they picked him. Obv Indy drafted him on the Spurs behalf in anticipation of the trade.

Spurs didn't draft Kawhi.

I know. The Pacers drafted Kawhi on the Spurs behalf. Overall the situations can be comparable. Wiseman, Paschall, and the 2021 T Wolves draft pick can grow and develop in the perfect environment similar to Kawhi on the Spurs.
