After the Bucks lose another disappointing year, everybody and their mama knows that the Warriors will send Wiggins plus the second pick, 2022 first round pick and filler for Giannis this off-season.
Curry
Klay
Giannis
Iggy
Draymond
I mean come on, could they make it any more obvious?

Don't they also have the Minnesota first round pick in 2021. They'd have to include that for sure and then Giannis would have to demand a trade as well. Not sure about all the rules when it comes to trading picks anymore, but the above isn't enough...even with a trade demand.
Even then...it is tough. Wiggins isn't good and he makes a lot of money. Taking him on is a negative.
So the 2nd pick and two other first rounders for Giannis? Don't think so. Someone comes along and beats that offer.

Ive been saying thats the only reason Wiggins is there since the first day he was traded. Why else? The Warriors are building a "steal your star" package hoping he asks out.
Iggy is playing for the Heat.
Hth did op manage to forget this

i just dont see how the bucks are enticed by an offer. houston could offer westbrook and that's more appealing than wiggins and a few picks and still a trash offer. sixers could offer simmons for example, tor could offer siakam if giannis really demands a trade etc. Mil goes for it one more year to try to win a title and convince him to stay. comes down to tor, mia, and dal i think if he wants to leave in free agency.

NBA needs the Warriors back. They're low in ratings.

The Warriors without Giannis look like a 6-7th seed to me. They will be a contender with Giannis but wont be anywhere near as dominant as the last few years. Remember they won 67 and 73 games without Durant in 2015 and 2016, it was a much better team back then.

GSW sacrificed their depth a.k.a. "Strength In Numbers" to sign KD.

Am I the only one who thinks Giannis isn’t really that great, and he won’t become much better then he already is? If he goes to the Warriors they won’t have the same success as they had with Durant.

According to some of the biggest drop off in ratings we've seen in a long time, yes really.

Talk to me in December when Giannis is a Warrior.
It could happen, I just don't think it will with that package.
Giannis would basically have to demand a trade publicly and say he'll only play for the Warriors...and I just doubt he'd do that.
Wiggins (negative contract) and a couple picks...is not getting Giannis at his peak. That is significantly less than fair value and another team will beat that. But, crazier things have happened I guess. But man...getting peak Giannis for that trade package would be insane.

It could happen before the trade deadline if the Warriors draft Wiseman and he exceeds expectations. Let's say Wiseman averages 18 and 12 with the Warriors which is possible because of the spacing he would get with the splash bros. Wiseman averaging 18 and 12, Wiggins (who also might improve playing with the splash bros), and a top 3 protected T Wolves pick in the stacked 2021 draft. It isn't impossible. It really depends on Wiseman.

I think that seems about right. I'd just add that the Bucks would also likely insist on dumping Bledsoe and they'd want Paschall as well.
So if you tell me the Warriors draft pick looks great, Paschall is included, two more first rounders, Wiggins, and the Bucks get to dump Bledsoe...then yea...that seems possible given certain conditions.

Lol, westbrook is not more appealing than what the warriors could offer. Yes Wiggins isn't a good offer, but the 2nd pick and a potential top 5 pick next year is better than 32 year old all star who plays wild and can't get out of the first round without another MVP on his team and who has 3 years left at 40 million a year. I'd take the Warriors offer in a heartbeat to rebuild over Chokebrick.

If he joins the Warriors, he doesn't need to be better, it'll be enough to topple everyone again.

no one is going to join the Warriors, it was all about Durant being a complete coward, it had nothing to do with a supposed "attractiveness", Warriors was not a destination for the free agents A+ before Durant and will continue to not be after him.
Durant would have gone to Orlando, Seattle or Barcelona if that gave him guaranteed titles, he is just the weakest sportsman in history.

Honestly, Giannis on the dubs will work.
Imagine facing a death lineup of
Giannis
Dray
(filler)
Klay

That's a true 2020 death lineup.

If they got an elite defensive center that team would be unstoppable.
Only thing though is there would be a bit of redundancy and it would take away from what makes the Warriors so special because just like with KD, the ball would be in Steph's hands less. I mean, they'd still win the title... I'm just saying.
