View Full Version : Do you think Giannis should ring chase like LeBron/KD did?

5th seeded Miami Heat just have a 3-0 lead & they'll most likely eliminate 1st seeded Bucks.

During 2010s, megastars like LeBron & KD joined a stacked deck to win rings.

LeBron is top 3 player in NBA history & KD is maybe top 12 player in NBA history.

Do you think Giannis should be a ring chaser to elevate his legacy like KD & LeBron did?

No, but he can leave for a team more attractive to future agents (i.e., a large market or something like Miami) without ring chasing. Milwaukee is a dead end. No one will sign there and Middleton isn't a championship 2nd option in today's NBA.

The west is already stacked even more to begin with so joining the celtics won't be bad, i suppose.

only the media thinks lebron is top 3 so if he wants to be respected, he shouldnt follow their footsteps. But at the same time, he really isnt skilled to be the man so he should be. But dont brag like your top 3 like lebron or he would be as hated as him.

LeBron teamed up with 2 bums who couldn't get out of the first round.

KD joined a 73-9 team to whom he choked a 3-1 lead. The very same team (with the same core who just reached 2 nba finals in a row and won one ring).

Please do not compare KD to LeBron. KD is a known b-tch.

+1

Some posters that are very new to ball and still need to learn and become more educated. Thank you for helping his naive, feeble mind.

I doubt steph is going to allow another player to win a finals mvp over him.

Yeah he must go out and seek on his own so his haters will have more respect for him somehow

Giannis should go where the best basketball and family situation is for him. Imo the Bucks are not good enough to warrant him staying there. He will waste his talent on Bud and Bledsoe.

I personally would love to see him go to the Mavs.

^^^ nonsense... Everyone said the Bucks were stacked (see the threads that I just bumped)

So the problem isn't Middleton... It's that Giannis is a beginner, 3rd grade-level jumpshooter, and therefore tremendously exploitable

But as usual, you guys ignore your previous erroneous statements and now think his cast is insufficient... Bruh, have you SEEN giannis shoot?...

The Bucks would be lucky to win 40 games without Giannis.

The Bucks would be lucky to win 40 games without Giannis.

That's only because Giannis' severely limited skillset forces the team to play a weak brand of ball that caters to Giannis

If Giannis was a more complete player, the Bucks could play a better brand of ball and/or go to Giannis consistently in the clutch

Only crappy players with massive leaks in their game consistently lose as the #1 seed (Giannis or pre-decision/pre-cheating lebron).. the leaks cause the team to adopt a shallow brand that can't hold up in playoffs

2 MVP's by age 25--only KAJ and LeBron did that. "Crappy player"? :confusedshrug:

Not the real deal... aka a "Pippen"

Clearly needs his Jordan because his lack of jumper means he'll literally never be clutch

And it also means his teams must employ a weak brand around his leaks (a 1 ball-handler and 4 shooter approach, aka beginner brand)...

The weak brand is Giannis' fault ... If he wasn't one-dimensional, the bucks could run a more sophisticated, playoff-ready brand

He has had more playoff success through age 25 than Jordan did...

More Playoff success = getting backdoor swept as the #1 seed & potentially getting swept in the 2nd round as a #1 seed this year. Wow. He's clearly a much better Playoff performer than this fraud Jordan guy. Guess what, this is his 7th season. MJ went 15 - 2 and won the championship in his 7th year.
