though i suppose it is the most polished current gen version. next gen version coming out in a few months gon' be buggy as hell with 2k starting again from scratch. should be interesting seeing a new engine, though. no more skating & warping? we'll see.

Remember how insane the upcoming Madden's/Live's looked when a new console came out? :bowdown:


Had a EB store at the mall and people were in awe of the PS2 demo stand, I think it was Madden Titans Eddie George cover (02?)


All displayed on small 22" plasma screens right when those too just started to go consumer, it was madness how cool sports games looked cross generation. The improvement seemed like quadruple.


I dunno, 20 years later it looks prettier but you start to play it and the AI/bots aren't much of a improvement at all. EA/2K make too much of a killing on cosmetics/mtx, same with Rockstar. Just give the old cow a HD remaster with a few more polygons and call it a wrap.

The gameplay been boring AF.
It ain’t all that fun, like NBA JAM / Playgrounds / Street used to be.
Micro-transactions are so disrespectful to the consumer, and player base.
It’s catering to spoiled, pay-to-win rich kids with no life.

Stopped 2k years ago. I think the last one I got was 2k19 for $3 on Xbox marketplace, before that 2k13 on PS3. I can't even be bothered to pirate the shit on PC nowadays..
