My rankings out of the best teams that ultimately ended losing in the finals from the 2010 decade from strongest to weakest are

1 2017 cavs went up against the goat team and were a Korver missed three from taking them potentially 6 to 7 games

2 2011 Heat were far better then the Mavs took the greatest meltdown from a goat player in the finals for them to lose and all their losses besides game 6 were very close

3 2016 GSW won 73 games but had a habit of getting blown out often in that finals series

4 2013 spurs took a miracle ray Allen shot for them along with a huge choke in the last 30 seconds of game 6 for them to lose the title took a peak of his powers Lebron the distance.

5 2010 Celtics took the Lakers to 7 and lost a very tight game 7 that could have gone ether way.

6 2012 Thunder run through the west were only a missed Kd foul call from potentially taking a 2 0 series lead in the finals that year.

7 2019 Gsw very powerful team could be argued that even without durant that if Klay does not get hurt in game 6 that they do a 3 1 comeback of their own as the Cavs did them to in 2016 but injuries to that team bump them down.

8 2014 heat were past it and got utterly exposed by a vengeful spurs team that wanted vengeance after the heartbreak of the year prior

9 2018 cavs had no one besides Lebron through did have Kevin love which is something at the very least

10 2015 cavs as they had maybe the worst supporting cast in finals history with delly being the second-best player this series on the cavs against a 67 win warriors team.

Tell me if you agree or disagree with the order that I placed those teams in

Why did you put the 2016 warriors ahead of the 2017 Cavs as I would like to know your reasons for that choice.

Just because cavs got lucky the previous year doesn’t mean they were better the next year

The 2016 and 2017 Cavs were similar offensively( third offensive ranking) but there was a big defensive drop from 10th in 2016 to 21st in 2017. I believe the 2016 Warriors would beat the 2017 Cavs due to this defensive drop-off, given that the 2016 finals came down to the final minute. I also factored record into it but that was less a deciding factor.

The 2013 Spurs were a legit championship team that had its heart pulled out by one of the great clutch shots in league history, then folded in game 7 under Lebrons great performance. I believe they would have beaten the 2011 Heat, which had less depth than the 2012 and 2013 squads, as well as Lebron clearly needing another year in the oven in terms of mentally rising to the moment on the cusp of a title.

The 2017 Cavs were way better in the playoffs, they were coasting hard in the regular season that year.
