How quickly they forget.

Back when Russ wasn't an asshole yet :(

He was popular.

He was our "last of a dying breed".

Our Alphabrook.

:( I miss when he knew what he was doing. Now it's like he lets teams talk him into taking a 3. He had 5 fouls, he didn't wanna drive or get blocked or turn it over.

That Spurs series in 16 was one of my favorites. He took over in the 4th quarters of both their road victories... against a team that went 40-1 at home

I know he lost to the Jazz, but that game 5 was one for the ages. Down 25 and led that amazing 3rd quarter comeback... by hitting 3s :lol

Nah he just demanded a trade when things got hard and his running mate left him. Meanwhile CP3 did better this year as OKC's leader than any of the 4 years Westbrook was leading OKC without Durant.

Who gives a shit what CP3 did this year, he's home. Keep talking about CP3 like he's so great taking role players to the playoffs. Wow that's so impressive bro, no one in the history of OKC has ever taken role players to the playoffs.

let's be honest better than role players. when did 18ppg guys becomes role players. you can give paul some credit for shai and schroder's development but I hate giving too much credit for these situations since it's dismissing guys putting in hard work themselves(like the pippen is a role player forever without jordan crowd)

SGA is young but he's inconsistent. He is prone to having a 2 point game in on 1-6 shooting in a big spot. Shroeder was very important to that 3 guard lineup, I feel like he carried them till 5 mins in the 4th and CP3 finished the other teams off. It was a nice mix. I liked Adams when Russ was there but he was so useless in the Rockets series, as he often is against teams with fast guards that break down the defense. They ran into Harden and Lou, Mitchell, and Dame and CJ. Teams would spam the pick and roll and everyone and their mother knows Adams can't cover those guys, it just isn't fair. Gallo is overrated himself, an inconsistent guy that can't play defense. Presti is usually in love with athletic defensive guys that can't shoot, but this year they actually had some shooting.

But Russ didn't take over series as much as he should have.

his pump fake is so good, it's like a cross-over. it drops the central position of gravity of the opposing defender.
