Westbrooks not in his prime. But if we're pretending he is then both dirk and kawhi did one better. They beat 2 FMVP's in their primes.

Series isn't over yet, but it is incredible to think of all the great teams Lebron has beat in his career. How many MVPs has he beat in their prime? Not to mention beat the 61 win Bulls during Rose's MVP season without homecourt advantage.

Westbrook is only 31 so he's still in his prime

And neither Dirk or Kawhi did that

He is 3ball Jr. :lol

The people who beat the Lakers in 03' and 04' and beat the KD/Russ Thunder come to mind--unless you mean players who had already won a MVP by that point (which excludes Kobe and Russ).

Wade never won MVP, although he was 3rd and 5th in a couple seasons.

Notice he doesn't want to talk "efficiency" anymore? LeBron is 28/9/7 on 64% TS. When did Kobe ever do that in a series? For the PO, he is 28/10/9 on 68% TS. Numbers Kobe could only dream of.

Most people recognize there is "bubble" inflation, but 3ball Jr. didn't say anything about that when it come to other players, like George and Butler, so...

Itīs crazy how LeBron is having an all-time great playoff run at nearly the age of 36. Itīs similiar to 2018 but the offensive burden is spread more evenly with AD.

Lebron is the 2nd best player on his team. Efficiency bump aside, that's just factual as of right now. Kobe's averaged 34/7/8 on 64%TS in a Playoff series btw and that's with just 2.5 turnovers per game. He was by far the best player in the series & on his team, Lebron currently in the Rockets' series is the 3rd best player in terms of ppg and gamescore -- stats you Lebron nutriders have loved to use in all your other threads. His teammate is leading the Playoffs in PER, WS/48 & BPM. Don't think anyone isn't seeing through your shtick btw.

Tony Parker and Chauncey Billups were FMVPs. It's not the same thing. It's harder to win MVP. You have to be the best player for months, not just over 7 games.

Just because they had alot of success and were among the top players in the league it dosn't mean they were in their prime. Like you say harden definitely wasn't. Id argue kd wasn't also. Defensively he wasn't anywhere near the player he was when he won his chips in golden state. He also wasnt as smart or mature. He learned alot in golden state. That version of kd wipes the floor with the 12 version. You could make a case for westbrook being the same just because he really hasnt grown much. He still cant shoot and he still makes bone headed decisions.

I would say KD, Westbrook were in their primes but not close to their peaks. Primes can be really long. For healthy players of their caliber you are usually taking 7-8 year runs, for lesser players maybe 4-5, and the guys with the GOAT longevity can have a full decade like KAJ (1970-1980) for a prime.

Westbrook's prime probably will be remembered as being 2011-2018. Some may argue 2011-2017 but he was still top 5 in MVP in 18' and better than Paul George. With KD we have to see but most likely 2010-2019, assuming he declines due to injuries and aging when he comes back in 21'.

I guess it depends what you consider prime. I consider it to be when the physical and mental are close to the same level. For most basketball thats probably 26-32. To me the absolute peak of that would only be a few years when the 2 meshed together are at its highest. Maybe 27 to 30. This is just a base of course. Someone like bron had a longer prime than most. Other players have had much shorter primes.

I definitely wouldn't say kd or most players are in there prime at 22. I think your underestimating the importance of the mental side of the game which usually comes a bit later. Again there can be exceptions to this like magic, luka and bron but i wouldn't put kd in that category.
