View Full Version : LeBron can't win without 3 star players on his team. Big 3 formed in Heat/Cavs/Lakers

LeBron/Wade/Bosh

LeBron/Irving/Love

Davis/LeBron/Rondo

It's pathetic how much he has to stack his teams just to get a 33% win rate in the NBA finals. Just think how hard LeBron recruited Leonard this summer. The Lakers could've had a big 5 had Cousins not gone down. Give anyone two other star players and they could win a championship. Therefore LeBron deserves no respect for any of his rings.

If 20' Rondo is a "star", how many "stars" have there been on teams LeBron played against?

Such a sad manufactured career. Most great players only needed one other star to win championships. LeBron is so insecure he needs one more than everyone else. Straight bitch made mentality.

He needs an alpha dog scorer sidekick, aka an elite first-option-caliber sidekick to win

So the opposite of a "pippen".. lebron can't win with a "pippen"

LeBron won with Wade averaging less ppg in the '13 playoffs than Pippen did in any title run

Irving has never been higher than 8th in scoring (same as Pippen or Miller). His scoring peak is 25 PPG over a full season and the 16' PO run we hear about was 25 PPG as well. MJ stains have spent most of this week saying players from the 90's would be scoring 5-6 PPG more in this era.

That would inflate Pippen to 27-28 PPG, Kukoc to 24-25 PPG, Grant & BJ & Oakley to 20-21 PPG, Woolridge to 30-31 PPG--and that's just those inflated to 20+. (Jordan would go to 42-43 PPG.)

At any rate, the Bulls had a top 10 offense w/out MJ--Heat weren't even top 20 w/out LeBron. When Irving left CLE they went from #3 to #5 in offense. When Pippen was out for half of 98', CHI went from #1 to #13. It is bizarre MJ stans keep harping on offense vis-a-vis LeBron, whose team offenses suck w/out him.

Wade got prime Pippen stats in those Finals, so your point is wrong.. lebron never beat a good team (top 5 SRS) with weak scoring and efficiency from a sidekick - only mj did - 5 times MJ beat a top 5 SRS team with 10-16 on 40% from Pippen (including 2 Finals and 2 ECF)

Ultimately, Wade got prime Pippen stats in the regular season from 13-16' (all-star).. And prime Pippen stats from the 13' Finals thru 14' ECF, and 16' Playoffs (and obviously in 12' and 11 playoffs)

But everyone knows lebron didn't need 3 stars to get through the East.. weak teams were routinely winning that conference yet lebron formed a super team to ensure Finals runs

1-9 BALL.. MJ had Pippen, Kukoc,, Rodman, bison dele, Harper on the same team.. TALK about stacked .. They played vs UTAH who had two allstars and Hornacek who was a nice player but that was it.. MJ SO OVERRATED.. MeanwhilE Lebron doing it with a player that barely ever got into the playoffs and RONDO .. LOL..

Kevin Love couldnt carry Pippen or Rodmans jockstrap.. And Kyrie is a perennial loser whose teams play better when he doesnt play.

Wade and Bosh averaged 28 pts total through the 2013 playoff run. How many other stars have won titles with their 2nd and 3rd option giving that little scoring production.

And yes Wade played a little better in the Finals, but Bosh did not. If Bosh was a "star player" in the 2013 Finals, that means Horace Grant was a star player for the Bulls at least in 91 and 93.

If performance in the Finals is how you judge things, then Lebron won in 2016 without 2 superstars since Kevin Love certainly wasn't a star in the 2016 finals. He was actually pretty awful and wasn't even the Cavs 3rd best player let alone a 3rd star.

Kevin Love is avg 17 pts and 10 reb on a bad team in a league where scoring is easy. Horace would put up better numbers and be way better defensively... Horace Grant was better than Love.. Imagine his defensive ability playing with Bron.. And people dont know that HORACE had a very good set jump shot.. He beat MJ in 95 with it.. LOL..

Kevin Love in the 2016 Finals: 8 pts and 6 rebounds on 36% shooting and did not play in game 3 when the Cavs beat the Warriors by 30.

Since all you trolls care about is what happens in the finals please explain how Kevin Love was a "star player" that helped Lebron win this title?

Oh yeah, Horace Grant is an extremely underrated player and now gets hate from Jordan fans because of his depiction in the last dance. He was very critical in their first 3 title runs. He helped the Bulls win 55 games as second option after Jordan left in 94, came back and beat Jordan in 95 by having a great series for the Magic helping them make the Finals and a big reason the Bulls swept the Magic in 96 is because Horace was injured and missed the series.

He is criminally underrated and much better than Kevin Love.

I think all of mj's teammates during the dynasty are great. This should be the consensus for bulls fans but some who only stan the most decorated player in the said team are just outright ridiculous.

SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR THIS ETHER

Playoff wins LBJ vs MJ

LBJ: 2007, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2017 = 66 playoff wins
MJ: 1985, 1986, 1987, 2002, 2003 = 1 playoff win

The ultimate blemish for MJ = 5 YEARS, 1 playoff win in 5 years without Pippen
The ultimate blemish for LBJ = 5 YEARS, 66 playoff wins losing in the Finals

Notice how MJ stans flip flop thread to thread on whether 90's players would score more? :lol When it comes to MJ's teammates MJ stans say they won't score more (might even score less!); when it comes to every other 90's player it is 5-6 PPG more at minimum, maybe more; for MJ himself he would score 45, 50 today.
