Just read it on facebook. Let's see if Mr Big Shots can turn Indiana into a contender with a healthy Sabonis.

I liked Billups as a player but would rather have somebody with experience. Pacers have been first round fodder for too long just to gamble on someone that would be learning on the job along the way.

Is he a good coach?

Can the Lakers get him?

I think he might be good. Former players who were point guards usually do well as coaches. And he won't be any worse than the morons who "have experience" losing and were fired.

He'll prob do a better job than some of these "experienced" candidates. Ie losers

Pacers already went on that road and we had one of our worst coaches ever in Isiah Thomas. This is a team that needs an identity and guidance and a guy with zero experience wont cut it despite all the wishful thinking barely backed by logic.

He fits the profile of a former player who could make the successful transition into coaching.

I think I like it...

What's up with the Pacers taking Pistons point guards for their coach?

First Zeke, now Chauncey?

I'm guessing SAS will be making a rant about this soon enough right?

Think he could definitely be a good coach. Chauncey played like a modern player (3s and FTs) and I always though he was one of the smartest commentators. If he gets the Pacers to play like he did instead of the old school way McMillan was obsessed with, they’ll improve.

He will not do good, should just stick to being announcer of Clippers that's it

I think this hiring is a PR move by their organization, offset by the "white privilege" comments about Nash and all that. I mean, he is a good former player and all, but unlike Nash he doesn't have experience coaching yet. Let's see how it turns out.

Stephen A. is going to force a team to make an Affirmative Action hire now :oldlol:

Eh a person with no coaching experience at all? I dunno about that.
