It’s weird to me that society has regressed so much.

1600-1900s: Provably you met / saw / worked / talked to like 50+ people a day just to be able to survive and make it through life.

1900-1950: Probably 20+ people a day you had to be in constant communication with at some level. Families still fairly large and people still pretty much lived in their town/city.

1960-1990: Provably dwindled a bit each decade down to 10 or so.

1990-2020: It’s like 0-5 now. Really don’t need anybody else to survive and talk to. Family sizes are very small. People move far away to other states. We can remote work.

Honestly, it sucks. Hanging with people or building connections seems like so much effort and forced.

This is why it’s important to maintain old relationships. And the older you get the more you value them.

The medium just changed to online. I know people who whatsapp 100+ people a day and active in 20+ groups.

It's progression, not regression.

That sounds like absolute torture. I'm just imagine insanely mind numbing conversations about absolutely irrelevant, forgetful things that equal a wasting of their life.

I hope Walk on Water is off of that. Hmmm, OP could be Walk on Water. Not Walk on Water's style, but I could iamgine him making such a topic.

I agree. I don't get how some people can be that extroverted.

no one does that, except when itsd with colleagues for business.

thats abolutely impossible and also time wasteful, people who have that time dont have a job and/or usually game, so wouldnt happen either.

Extroverted or vain? there's a difference
