They had a 59 win pace in the 70 games Pippen was healthy so "60" isn't far off when you are talking their performance level.

It is funny how OP thinks Robinson, Malone were consistent, great playoff performers. More evidence he never watched 90's basketball (i.e., never watched his hero actually play).

As to George, OP and the Team MJ crew were hyping George for 45 pages just weeks ago. Now the agenda calls for diminishing George to hype Davis to diminish LeBron potentially winning another ring (the argument will be LeBron, LeCollude!, is the only one who had a sidekick of that caliber--it doesn't get more ironic than this... :roll: ).

No one noticed or paid any attention to him.

People forget that MJ can't assist on his own shots, and his volume was much more than Pippen's... So the available shots for MJ to assist on was much lower, yet he averaged the same assists as Pippen.. actually, MJ averaged more assists than Pippen in 6 of 9 playoff runs together.

People say that mj needed Pippen... But MJ didn't "need" his sidekick to average 10-30 less in every series and assist 25% less often, and force MJ to win every ring as scoring champ (the 00' Shaq load, or 71' Kareem).

MJ would've been better off alongside a fellow 1st option Finals guys like say, Ewing, who would allow MJ to average 25 ppg instead of 32+ and scoring champ every year... MJ also wouldn't get more dpoy votes than Ewing like he did Pippen every year... Ultimately, Ewing commanded the ball... And super-tons of mismatches and double teams.. and a phenomenal shooter (best-shooting big ever at one point in the 90"s), so he fits any system or era
