Did 2012 & 2014 finals foreshadow Harden & Kawhi's careers?

Both Harden and Kawhi were in their pre primes and given an opportunity to be on title teams. Harden went to the finals and choked despite having no pressure on him. Kawhi went to the finals and dominated. Since that time, Kawhi has been a playoff hero and Harden has been a playoff zero.
