Do you think he would play the same way as he did from 1959 to 1966 with the Warriors being a scoring machine or he would just mainly play as he did in 1967/1968 in today's league?

What do you think would happen? Do you think Wilt would not be as dominant as he was in the 1960's or would the league be at his mercy with today's rules and spacing favoring him?

Stat wise I think Wilt would average 40 and 15 in today's era especially if he gets to play 40 plus minutes a night on any team but especially a bad team that he has to carry by himself.

Wilt is basically a 7 foot 1 LeBron so you have to think that if Lebron is dominating this era despite his age that a prime Wilt would be putting up monster numbers very similar to the ones he put up in the 1960's besides the rebounds of course

Always thought he would be a Shaq/Robinson hybrid while being slightly better than a peak Shaq impact wise. Is that fair or do some people believe he retains his numbers from back then lol.

That's a fair view of Wilt in my eyes.

I'd like to add that he likely wouldn't ever lose the all-time seasonal FG% record, unless he also fell in love with the 3 or his shooting volume was too high. In today's huge spacing/zero paint presence era, I can easily see a "facilitator" Wilt having multiple 70+% seasons and, despite his rebounding numbers dropping, multiple seasons with rebounding percentages clearly higher than what anyone could achieve in his paint-congested eras.

The three second rule alone would make him a brad miller type player today.

It's about spreading the floor which Wilt would be horrible at.

Problem with this question is people act like if wilt played today he'd have the same skills and game. You can tell he'd still be a beast. He was an elite athlete that probably could of been at a high level at almost anything. If he played now he'd be the strongest and fastest big man by a mile. Plus he way more skilled than people realize. He was doing fadeaways before mj was born or close to it. You have to be an idiot if you think wilt is gonna be just an above average player now. But hey dont take my word for it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h0IC8Nwkd1w
